Ingredients
100gms of self raising flower
50gms of butter/margarine
35gms of caster sugar
50gms of dried fruit or chocolate chips
1 egg
Method
1. sift flour into bowl
2. rub in butter finely
3. add sugar and fruit/chocolate chips
4.mix to a stiff butter with beaten egg
5. place 5 or 8 desert spoons of mixture in rocky mounds, on a well buttered baking tray(allow room between each as they spread slightly)
6. bake 400f or gas no.8 or 200c
7. cool on a wire rack
